Having just been shot down once more by his boss, the Editor-in-Chief for seemingly the hundredth time that morning, George walks back to his desk with his tail between his legs.
Ella, the new PA to Simon, walks over to ask George a question. What she asks ends up being more work for George but he doesn’t mind. She’s kind to him and they have friendly relationship. Ella thanks him profusely for being so helpful and makes a comment that he isn’t paid enough for what he does. George ponders that for a moment and decides she’s right. He’s got to make a stand and grow a pair.
